About me

Culinary art is my passion first and profession second. I have been privileged throughout my career growth as I attended the best culinary school and had my fare share of five star hotels experience as I have worked in a couple of major hotels in Kenya.I have local and international experience where I was privileged to work with a world class cruise ship, celebrity cruise line and got an opportunity to travel in different continents and countries and also worked with the best celebrity chefs in the world.

After all my industrial experience,I decided to come back home work on my own projects as an entrepreneur and that’s how the concept of Rubia’s Kitchen came about.

My main objectives is to provide catering services that delivers amazing presentation and state of the art dining experience that will exceed our clientele expectations.My team comprises,unique,talented,professional and innovative individuals that always ensures we maintain our top notch standards for our middle and high-end clientele.

Our main services include,wedding receptions,corporate events,cocktail party and general food events.our menus are mostly international and local cuisine with a 3 course menu comprising of a detailed buffet from starters,main course and desserts.A few of the major functions I have done VIP’s functions.Just to mention a few,Senator Mike Sonko’s farther funeral at Mua hills Machakos,Lynda Nyangweso and David Ayieko who are renowned radio presenters.I have also done cooking show segments with our major local tv stations like Qtv,Ntv,Ebru Africa and currently on K24 Alfajiri.
