My name is Alexandre,I am a 28 years old Ivorian.I studied literature and history in high school,after obtaining my high school diploma. Against all expectations I decided to study culinary arts in 2011.

After which I had the opportunity to work as a steward at SOFITEL HOTEL IVOIRE in Ivory Coast.

I became an assistant to the head chef Pascal Favier with whom I learned many new recipes. That’s when I realised cooking was a whole lot of fun.

African cuisine  needs to be known worldwide, this cuisine that rocked my childhood with it’s richness and diversity. We have been so taken away by foreign cuisine that we forget the rich and diverse cuisine that the continent has got to offer .Through workshops and culinary events with different chefs,we can work together in putting African gastronomy on the global  platform.
