My name is Raphael,I’m 26years old and I’m from Togo.After completing my secondary education,I’m told my father I would love to work in the hospitality industry.To my greatest surprise, he was very supportive.In 2008,I got enrolled in a culinary institution.
My 7years of experience as a trainee,an intern and as a worker,aided me to work in hotels in Togo and it’s sup-regions :Hotel Melissa and Le Roc Hotel in Togo,Le Roumde in Burkina Faso and The Obaa’s Golden Plaza in Ghana.I have also had to the privilege of working at the residence of Ivorian International soccer player Didier Drogba during a brief stay in Ivory Coast.An experience I will never forget.
As a young chef,my ambition is to participate in cooking competitions like ”Star Chef”, take part in important culinary gatherings like Kitchen & Party by Dieuveil Malonga and also African Chefs United, with the aim of developing my skills,acquire more experience,share my taste and interest in Culinary Arts,and promote the delicacies of African gastronomy.
