My Name is Seda Nyalen Ürküt. I’m from Turkey and 25 years old. I have two diplomas. My first diploma is in accounting from Çukurova University in Adana. My Second diploma About international Professional Cook and Patisserie from MSA Academy in Istanbul. I have been working in the kitchen for 6 years now, my first job was in the Istanbul Num Num Restaurant (2010-2012). After i worked in Füzyon Kitchen and one of the best restaurant in Istanbul called Mikla Restaurant. After Mikla, Zelda Zonk Restaurant.
My first hôtel job was in Gradiva in İstanbul right after I my job at the Maslak Sheraton Hotel which was for a wedding, meeting , events,cocktails. After Istanbul I went to live in West Africa,Bamako -MALI, where I worked for one of the best Chef in Patisserie whose name is Mouye for a year, he was really good for me.
But After 1 year, I started searching more about african Cuisine. I started learning about African cooking with the Africans everyday. In my opinion, i feel like african cuisine and culture is not well known well. I’m glad to have had the opportunity to learn about African cuisine. African food is good and has a lot of fresh produces and a lot to explore, that is Why i Want to have my restaurant in Africa that offers the authentic African experience.
