My name is Koffi Gomes, I’m 26 years old,I am Ivorian,I did general system of education right up to high school.After completing high school, i had a talk with my father about my passion for culinary,he was very positive about my choice since he had also been in the same field.I started working as a kitchen Porter at Sofitel Hotel Ivoire and was later integrated to join the kitchen brigade.
The heritage of African gastronomy is very rich and diverse,and our Cuisine, is our Landmark.I think it is important for predecessors of this arts to form platforms to educate ,train and compete young African Chefs thus promoting our rich cuisine to the world.
