My name is karem atef
I’m 19 years old from egypt. I started work at 14 years old and I remembered my first salary was 4$. I was inspired to be a Chef because of my dad,he is a chef too,an executive chef. He always takes me at every competitions from when I was 15 years old. I have been working and training at cairo airport & intercontinental city stars.
My first competition was joiner chef, it was at 2014,I did not win but I got a merit certificate for partaking.
However I competed in 2016 and came third and my country chose me to join the young chef olympiad,It was my first international competition and my place at dessert 5 and will be competing with 11 competitors. I don’t see myself doing anything else than being a chef and I believe that a chef should cook with his or her heart and passion and I hope to do big things in my life and great things in my country and the world.
